Brad Pitt Rescues Extra On Set Of Latest Movie 'World War Z'


Actor Brad Pitt swooped to the rescue of an extra on the set of his latest movie 'World War Z' according to UK newspaper the Scottish Sun.

The Fight Club star Brad Pitt is currently in Scotland filming scenes for his latest blockbuster which sees Glasgow double up as Philadelphia during a zombie invasion. While 700 extras tore through the George Square area of the city a woman stumbled and fell only to be saved from the on rushing crowd and helped back to her feet by the actor.

Lots of people hurt themselves, and Brad Pitt came to the rescue of a woman who slipped. I don’t think she could believe it when Brad picked her up said a witness, He didn’t have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly-grazed knee. Brad Pitt has attracted a media frenzy around his visit to Glasgow since first arriving in the city two weeks ago alongside wife Angelina Jolie and their six children.

The Hollywood A-lister Brad Pitt is currently in the process of finishing several films, including Cogan’s Trade a crime thriller set around an enforcer who is sent to investigate a heist during a mob protected poker game which also stars Ray Liotta and James Gandolfini, it is due for release in 2012.
