American fashion designer, author, actress, Singerand television personality and rocker wife Nicole Richie celebrated her 30th birthday Wednesday 'September, 21'. And apparently is was a popular one.

The reality star is probably hoping her 30s are simpler than her 20s. That was a period of weight issues, drug arrests, DUI charges and a very short '82 minutes to be exact' jail sentence.
Since then, Nicole Richie has cleaned up her act. She married Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden and no doubt spends much of her energy raising their children Sparrow and Harlow. Richie will soon be back in show business as a celebrity mentor on the upcoming NBC reality show 'Fashion Star'.
