Boxer Laila Ali Names Second Child Sydney

Laila Ali, the daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, has welcomed her second child with former Nfl star Curtis Conway, reports People Magazine.

The 33-year-old boxer and reality television star gave birth yesterday morning, 4th April 2011, and was already feeling well enough to tweet her digital followers by the afternoon, saying, I had my baby girl this morning! Sydney arrived on her due date at 3am! Everyone is happy and healthy. Syndey joins older brother C.J, who is now 2-years-old.

Laila recently spoke about how her famous father was excited at the prospect of being a grandfather again, saying, My dad is an excellent grandfather. He loves kids. He loves to kiss them to death.

Muhammed Ali has been married four times and has seven daughters and two sons in total. Laila's mother is the actress and model Veronica Porshe, whom Ali married in 1977.

Despite an unbeaten boxing career, Laila is perhaps best known for her numerous reality television appearances, most notably as a contestant on Dancing With The Stars in 2007.

Laila Ali and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy were widely praised for their routines and eventually finished in third place, despite having no previous experience.
