Milla Jovovich Stars As An Assassin In 'The Three Museketeers' (Video)


Actress Milla Jovovich has shown off her sword skills in the trailer for the latest film adaptation of 'The Three Musketeers', which sees her play an assassin.

The 35-year-old Milla Jovovich stars as an assassin in 'The Three Museketeers' movie.

Milla Jovovich plays M'lady de Winter in the latest film adaptation of the novel, shows off her dazzling sword skills in the motion picture's trailer, which was released online earlier this week.

The movie tells the story of D'Artagnan, Logan Lerman, who unites with his former musketeers, Athos- Matthew Macfadyen, Porthos- Ray Stevenson and Aramis- Luke Evans to stop Milla Jovovich's character from seizing the French throne.

Orlando Bloom stars as the Duke of Buckingham and Christoph Waltz takes up the role of Cardinal Richelieu for the movie, which is directed by Milla Jovovich's husband and 'Resident Evil' helmer Paul W.S. Anderson.

He recently revealed how he 'camped it up' a lot on the set of 'The Three Musketeers', which is set to be released in October and sees Juno Temple play Queen Anne.

Orlando said, I think I camped it up quite a lot, actually. This was my first time playing a villain. I had the costume, the big hairdo. I was like, 'I'm camping it up!' Like a petulant child.

Milla Jovovich had a surprising box office hit last year in the 2010 film 'Resident Evil: Afterlife' which debuted at the top of the box office with $27.7 million and went on to gross $296 million worldwide.
